GEMOFOR has developed a simple, efficient grading station.

This patented design splits the flow into up to four individual stations, reducing lineal chain speed. This gives graders more time to look at and analyze the boards, thus increasing accuracy.

The system is made up of two main components:

• The board turner steadily rotates boards of all sizes from 1'' X 3'' to 2'' X 12'', hence allowing graders to see the four sides of every board. This is done in perfect control and boards always stay in their respective lug. 

• The grading station itself which is offered in two versions: side by side and tower. 

The side by side version, also known as "Camel Back", is very reliable and consistent. The main shaft's design ensures perfect synchronization of all mechanisms.

The tower version can be set up with servomotors, allowing operations with one, two, three or four grading stations. The tower station is ideal for very fast and high-volume productions.
